Puma Ceramic Palo Santo Holder

Not every incense holder is made for real palo santo. Most standard holders are built for thin bamboo-core sticks, while authentic palo santo sticks are thicker, solid, and naturally irregular. In the structural cosmology of the Andean Trilogy, the puma represents Kay Pacha—the earthly realm, the present moment, and grounding physical strength. The Puma Ceramic Palo Santo Holder honors this principle by providing a wider, highly stable ceramic channel designed specifically to support bambooless palo santo sticks.

It holds the dense wood at an optimal angle for a clean burn, efficiently containing the ash and giving the piece a secure resting place between rituals.

Engineered for solid wood, not bamboo.
This holder is cast from premium white liquid clay (barbotina blanca) and fired in a gas kiln at exactly 1000°C (1832°F) for maximum thermal durability. It is designed specifically for the thicker format of solid Bursera graveolens wood, combining structural resilience with an authentic, hand-painted Peruvian finish.

Why the Puma Holder Matters

Palo santo is not a uniform industrial product. A good stick can be soft, dry, sweet, smoky, resinous, or slightly irregular. That is part of its authenticity. The Puma holder respects that natural format by giving the wood a thermally durable and culturally intentional place to burn.

For bamboo-core incense sticks such as sandalwood, jasmine, vanilla, lavender, or myrrh blends, use the Snake Ceramic Incense Stick Holder instead.
